to job creation, and capitalizing on Marysville's prominent role in efforts to land a NASCAR
speedway and a North County four-year university.
4. Interlocal Cooperation: Creating a new era of collaboration and cooperation between the City of
Marysville and Tulalip Tribes to address economic development, transportation and other needs of
mutual interest in a manner that complemented respective goals; and forged stronger relationships
with state and federal lawmakers, Snohomish County and neighboring jurisdictions through
implementation of numerous and wide-ranging inter-local agreements.
