NOTICE OF SPECIAL JOINT MEETING TO CONDUCT PUBLIC
HEARING BEFORE THE MARYSVILLE CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to RCW 28A.540.040, RCW 28A.335.090,
RCW 28A.335.120, RCW 28A.335.130, and chapter 39.33 RCW that the City of
Marysville City Council and the Board of Directors of the Marysville School District
No. 25, Snohomish County, Washington, will hold a special joint meeting on
Monday, May 13, 2024, commencing at 5:00 pm, at the City of Marysville Civic
Center in Council Chambers, 501 Delta Avenue, Marysville, WA, 98270. The
meeting is called to conduct a public hearing to hear public comments before
taking action on a property exchange proposal between the City of Marysville and
the Marysville School District. The properties are 1035 and 1049 State Avenue,
4220 80th St NE and 7622 44th Ave NE. If approved, the exchanged properties will
be used by the School District and the City for public purposes. The meeting will be
held in person with a Zoom option. Any person may appear at the hearing and be
heard for or against any part of the proposal. Those interested in participating in
the hearing and/or offering public comment over Zoom must pre-register at
www.marysvillewa.gov/remotepubliccomment before noon of the hearing. Citizens
wishing to listen to the hearing without providing comment can join the meeting by
Zoom link https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86246307568 or dial in at 888-475-4499
with meeting ID 862 4630 7568.
Prior to the public hearing on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 5:00 pm, there will be
informational sessions on Thursday, May 2, 2024 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Monday,
May 13, 2024 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Marysville Civic Center, Council Chambers, 501
Delta Ave, to provide opportunities for the public to review the proposal.
